Finding inspiration in nature's force and in its unparalleled beauty, Williston, Florida's Leta Phelps strives to capture this essence in her stained glass.

Following a fine arts educational background, Leta started working in stained glass in the early 80's. Due to career moves with her husband Rhea, art had to be sidelined but not forgotten. Upon moving to Gainesville, Florida, Leta began to explore the wild and remote areas of the southeast. This is where the beauty of our natural world and the love of glass helped rekindle the artist's soul.

Art lovers embraced the fact that they could send in a photograph of their favorite place and have it forever immortalized in a one of a kind stained glass panel.
Needless to say, after a several art shows throughout the southeast, many awards, and sales to glass enthusiasts across the United States, the obvious conclusion was to join the ranks of a full time art glass studio.

I am currently a member of the Marion Cultural Alliance, the Gainesville Fine Arts Association, and the Blue Ridge Mountains Art Association, and the Southern Appalachian Artist Guild all which serve to further the development of the arts.
